take me by the hand
went to johor bahru yesterday with the sis to catch a movie and do some shopping. hmm felt a lil scared initially after hearing lots of snatch theft incidents and gang robbery cases from the mum's friend and from puteri's blog, but alhamdulillah, nothing bad happened yesterday. although i was clutching my bag tightly. haha. paranoid woman.
the sis wanted to watch charlie and the chocolate factory, but the movie was only gonna start at 5.45pm, so we had to wait for like, what, 6 hours? no freaking way man. so we decided to watch 'ungu violet' instead. the only thing we knew about the show was that it's indonesian and uhh.. starred dian sastrowardoyo? but the movie was pretty ok la luckily. the starting was slow, but started to turn out nice after a while although i'm still unhappy about the unfinished ending. i hate shows with unfinished endings. *hmrph* the movie was such a tear-jerker though, i found my eyes wet several times throughout the movie.
ok moving on, we had lunch after that, and walked the entire shopping mall [oh, we went to city square btw]. and only bought two things in the end. see how fussy girls are? we couldn't find a dress that suits our taste, so it was trawling through one shop after another, and in the end we decided to buy a skirt and a shirt instead. hah! at least we had pretzels and a chocolate drink to comfort ourselves with.
