ladidadida... and so the story goes

tried out a new brownie recipe today. hmm it's not dry like the other time, but it's still not chewy or fudgy enough! ugh! why can't i just perfect the brownie recipe? and it's so frustrating cos i once had this great recipe and the brownie turned out perfect, but then i had to go and lose it. ah well.. at least this spells for more kitchen experiments for me!! yippeee!!! ["oh noooo!!!.." says the kitchen]

hmmm anyways was thinking that after i'm done with As, i'm gonna do some part-time teaching, and take some baking orders and start a mini-henna business. i think i'm going bonkers over henna. of course, the sis always gets to be the victim [willingly, i must add]. and yesterday's henna session didn't go bad at all. although in my opinion, henna always looks much better with the black crust still on the hand rather than after it's peeled off.

oh haha! do you know how i find it weird to have people outside of my family telling me that i'm pretty fair [for a malay la]? cos in my family, i'm considered pretty dark. just yesterday, the mum commented, "eh adik, adik gelap eh? berlegam la." and i was like, whoa! thanks ya mummy. but it's true la; even maman is fairer than me. *tsk tsk*. so unfair...
