starry starry nights

wheeee!!!!! bedah was supeeeeerrr happy yesterday cos she managed to catch pretty pretty fireworks with fana and muni!!! *gedebom**gedebom*

we met up at 5.30pm and sat by the river to eat ice cream and the brownies that i baked and the cookies that muni made. seperti biasa, fanalah yang telah menggasak bebenda yang kita bawa. gasak, gasaklah fana... asalkan kau bahagia.. haha. then we prayed at the underground mosque [haha. i don't really know the name] where we saw fauzy. hmmm seem to be meeting lots of people at that mosque.

then we went back to our supposed-to-choped-seats-but-kena-kebas place and waited. and waited. then at 8 plus... baru *gedebom*!!!! whooooo!!!!! we were so happy and excited we whooped for joy. i think we were the noisiest gundus there. i mean, i was doing my clap-my-hands-and-bob-up-and-down-when-i'm-excited routine and muni was just shouting. this china woman in front of us actually turned around and said something to her husband about us being crazy. hahaha.

look at the pics here.

and then we made our way to esplanade, and muni decided to come up with one of her brilliant games. so she and fana went all out to say ,"hi! are you so-and-so?" to random strangers and managing to scare a few of them. oooooh.. and i managed to hop into a civil defence truck and even took a pic in it cos the civil defence guys were just so nice enough to let me have a feel of saving the world. and fana and muni found that embarrassing. like hello? saying hi and scaring strangers is not embarrassing?

umm then sat for an hour at the bay in front of groups of mats and minahs. and then uni and fana decided to launch a debate on singapore-US ties and the FTAs right there and then. i was dying of shame already. i mean, three minah tudungs, speaking in english and discussing topics fit for a gp lesson right at the esplanade surrounded by mats and minahs? macam nak carik pasal aja.. oh and on the way back, we saw this bunch of fana's woodlands ring juniors walking [rather, stalking] around and i heard people saying, "eh, diorang nak carik gaduh ah.." eeeh scary.

oh oh oh, we ate satay too!! yum yum!! [haha. realised it's always about food for us?]

nice nice day. happy birthday singapore. =)
