let's get down and dirrrty, and by that, i meant let's talk politics of course! [what were you pervs thinking of?]. do you guys know of how much bullshits and lies and deceits and all other things despicable go into a government? LOADS. why do you think the word 'politics' sound so disgusting anyway. if i were a cavewoman [which i AM], and i don't know the meaning of 'politics', i'd think of some insects that suck on your blood.
went to an interesting seminar on gender representation in politics. and by interesting, i mean interesting. the first speaker was a dutch with such a thick accent that out of the thousand words she spoke [in a monotonous tone i must add], i understood like only 10. all four panelists were women, including our bachelorette MP irene ng. what a stage for feminism!
do you guys know that 50% of the world's population are women and yet only 15% of the world's politicians are women? unfair isn't it? then how do women get a chance to voice out their own concerns? the answer is: that's why women are so oppressed in certain countries.
for example, the arab countries have the lowest number of women politicians in the parliament - only 6%. and you find that in these arab countries, the women are more oppressed and the thing is, they think it is alright to be oppressed. you can definitely see that their environment can really influence their thinking. in fact, if i'm not wrong, if a woman there is raped, she'd have to bring fourth four male witnesses, otherwise it's considered sex outside marriage and she can be stoned to death. well hello, government, if the male eyewitnesses were there in the first place, then why didn't they STOP the rape? and why does only the woman get stoned; how about the guy?
oh, and before the seminar, farhanah told me loads of stuff about anwar ibrahim and the political agenda involved in his trials. interesting shits there.
oh, and all you innocent singaporeans, don't think for a second that the singapore government is all nice and clean. there is no such thing as a clean governement. as much as we claim to be a free country that awards based on merits, well... i can only say that is a bunch of bull. lee kuan yew's family is everywhere, controlling everything. look who's helming temasek holdings - lee hsien loong's wife. who owns smrt? lee kuan yew. see? they basically control everything. and you wonder how the PAP can remain in control for so long. yeah, yeah, the we're-so-bloody-efficient-crap-that's-why.
and do you guys know that there is a quota to the number of malays that can be admitted to the universities here? the number cannot exceed beyond a certain limit. if you didn't know, now you do. talk about meritocracy.
you know, i might actually consider going into political science. there's so much dirt out there that can be dug up. interesting.
PS: none of the above contents are meant to provoke anyone.
PPS: if any PAP members read this, i'm dead shit. oh hell, i'm malaysian anyway.
muahahahaha.
