selamat hari raya to all muslims all over the world!!!!

phew. finally the day has arrived, albeit without the splendour and pomp that we felt as kids. went to solat raya at the field near the woodlans stadium, then reached home and salam-salaman with the family. [cue for waterpipes to burst here. call me gembeng, cengeng, or whatever, but it was touching okay?] after which the family went to the aunt's place, and here i am back again at home.

i was in an extremely nostalgic mood yesterday. got a card from siti nur aisyah bte azhari, my dear darling friend from fuchun, and i started getting a bit teary-eyed. i really miss those primary school days with aisyah, dhaniah, nas, ezila, liyana a, liyana j, hairin and others. and then there were those kind-hearted sweethearts who gave me lots and lots and lots of hari raya messages. super sweet. being the ultimate lazy person, i'm so sorry if i hadn't given you one, but that doesn't mean you were not on my mind eh?

i love my family too. i love the mum [she was so funny. she called me 'sememek' and 'mat senet' yesterday, jokingly of course. ada ke patut panggil anak se-gorgeous ini nama2 itu? ish ish ish], i love the dad [resident family clown], the brothers [thanks for providing a source of irritation!], and the sister [thanks for the bitchings and whinings].

i love nasik bubur yang nun jauh di canada. miss you soooo much gurl. was just thinking of last year's raya when i banjirkan your house with air mata.

i love kat yang nun jauh di PJC. i miss you too. gonna call you soon - after this.
