miss you like crazy

Half-blind

if i were to love,
it would blind me
i'd pray for reality to come and save me
from every breath that sighs his name
or every alibi that hides his games
and every word that is etched with his smile;
every second that makes his lies worthwhile.

it would pain me to see myself half-blind
robbed of every senses to dismiss his kind
it would not do
to kiss and make up
pretend we'd never break up
and cover up all these emotional bruises
under a camouflage of love.

when all i really am,
is the saddest girl in the world
wearing a smile.
