MAK OH MAK, BILA NAK HARI RAYA?

hahaha. buang tebiat sikit aku niari. spent the whole of today slaving in the kitchen.

suma pasal raya. ni la, bedah nak cakap sikit. kalau bukan kerana nak
raya punya pasal, habuk-habuk yang dah termelekat kat celah-celah furniture tu mesti tak kena sental. pun, kalau bukan sebab nak beraya
punya pasal, langsir rumah tak tukar, baju pun tak tukar, cushion-cushion tak
tukar, kuih-kuih pun tak buat. sampai nak tarawih pun sempat sebab nak sental
rumah punya pasal.

ni la orang melayu kita. puasa, yang sepatutnya menjadi keutamaan,
tinggal macam bulan-bulan lain jugak. sibuk nak raya. puasa kadang-kadang tak
sampai sebulan, tapi raya nak melebih-lebih. nak dapat duit collection
punya pasal, sanggup keluarkan air mata [eksyen mintak maaf ler].

let's switch back to english mode. today is the 22nd ramadhan, and what have i done to make this ramadhan different? only god knows. i feel a bit of pity to see ramadhan come and go just like that, just like every year. each year i try to make it a point to change, and yet here i go again, still being bitchy.

sigh.

have i mentioned that i do not really like raya season? no, not the first day - the first day of raya is fine. we ARE supposed to celebrate the end of ramadhan with splendour. but the thing is, why do we drag on for 3o days? i don't understand la. even the arabs don't celebrate for 30 days. one day is enough i think.

but that's only what i think ler. so, i guess i'll still be jalan-jalaning raya this year with friends even two weeks after 1st of syawal eh? talk about hypocrisy. tsk tsk.

i made sugee today! all by myself you know. don't pray pray. the mum said i'm even good enough to start my own business. *beams* chocolate chips tomorrow!!
