i think i'm nuts.

i'm OBSESSED with looking at pretty tudung girls - especially if they are petite, very fair and have big eyes. seriously. you wanna know how bad is my obsession? i actually go thru friendster looking at the abovementioned pretty girls. haha, somebody tell me i'm nuts! i should be looking at guys, not girls!

ok, i want to justify my obsession: because i think there are not many good-looking guys in the first place!!! or maybe it's just my eyes, but seriously, don't you agree that there are more good-looking girls than their male good-looking counterparts?? i think God created men to be strong and women to be beautiful. and hence, i find it more satisfying to see a beautiful girl than to see a handsome-but-not-as-beautiful guy. there're just more things to observe on a girl's face. finely-shaped brows, beautiful eyes with lush lashes, fine small delicate nose, full well-defined lips.... for guys?? you only have to look out for two: piercing eyes, strong jawline. SO BORING!!!

on days when i go out with him, it's quite often that i'd say, "eh, just now at the mosque kan, i saw this verrrryyyyy pretty girl!! so cute and small and pretttyyyy!!!" haha. imagine? gushing over a girl!!!

but don't worry, i'm still straight ok? firstly, i gush over girls but i don't develop feelings for them. and secondly, i like A boy. hehehe..

i seriously get a bit irritated when people say, "i'm not PURE malay, i'm half-chinese, half-javanese", or anything to that effect. WHATEVER. to me, you're still malay ok? melayu tu melayu la. and i don't understand the need to define yourself as boyanese la, javanese la, bugis la, peranakan la.. semua MELAYU kan? eksyen pulak. and i don't care if you're tamil, hindi, punjabi, to me, you're INDIAN. teochew, hokkien, cantonese, you're CHINESE la ok? and don't let me get started on malays who'd do anything to disclaim their race or simply refuse to speak malay.

i seriously have come across people who would actually judge somebody's characteristics based on their being javanese/boyanese/whatever-nonsense-we-people-come-up-with BEFORE they even know the person. like WTH!!! we already have to put up with all these nonsense of lists of differences between one person and another, don't come up with more nonsense ok?? it is precisely because of these people who love to pick on these differences that acceptance and tolerance can never happen..

and i seriously wish that for once, those muslims in indonesia, thailand, or anywhere else would JUST ACCEPT that not everybody think like them. you can't expect everyone to be muslims can you? so all this thing about jihad and war against non-muslims, just let them go. i sincerely pray that there won't be any more blasts or bombings this christmas. let the christians celebrate.. it is their festive season after all.

it's so busuk hati of us to spoil it for them..

OMG. i was so nervous this morning. i went to NUS website to check my exam results, entered my matric number and pin number and the only thing i got was this:

27-JAN-2007 23:59 Hour

so i clicked refresh and refresh and refresh manymanymany times, all the while thinking," oh God, the NUS admin people are so slow!! it's already 11.10am!!" after the 2millionth time of checking, i got khasrul to check out the website for me.
