here's why brit pop is SO much nicer than american pop:

1. they're less noisy.
2. their frontmen usually have better voices, except for oasis' liam gallagher who sounds like he's squeezing his head through a straw. hahahahaa eeeevil suli.
3. i *gasp* actually don't mind brit house music! although, for the record i still don't like techno/house or anything.
4. they have coldplay. like hello? end of story.

i was listening to mariah carey the other day and i think she sounded waaaay better in the '90s. dunno, but her voice was so much more powerful and pure then compared to the series of raspy breaths malformed into syllables they tried to pass off as singing today. *shrugs*

and ouh, i can't seem to find any of the oldies cds the bro used to have. they have songs like 'end of the world' ["don't they know it's the end of the world? it ended when i lost your luurrrvveee..."] and my personal favourite "why do birds suddenly appear, everytime you are neeeeaaarrr? just like meeee they long to beeee close to youuuuu..."

waaahh. why can't they make music like they used to? so spine-tingling... hmm but granted, buble is pretty nice too la.


i can't believe i'm actually hooked on to America's Next Top Model. *gasp* so shallow. gaaaaahh... what's happening to my brain?

my command of the english language is so deterioriating due to the simple fact that i haven't really been communicating to people these few days. gosh. i never realised the power of communication. one month of complete isolation and i'll probably be garbling in baboon speak. yikes!
