thank you for everything
sometimes when something so terrible hits you, the pain and hurt that smarts your heart is too great to bear.
setiap yang terjadi itu ada hikmah-Nya. we must be strong, tabah dalam menghadapi ujian-Nya.
everything that has happened so far, they made me realise one thing. i only sit down on my prayer mat after prayers to really talk to Allah when something terrible happens. when my heart needs soothing. when my eyes need comforting from the tears. and yet when i'm happy i always neglect to say thank you to my Creator. for my life, my parents, my family, my friends and their families. is it really human nature to forget? manusia memang senang lupa?
my ustazah asked us something during madrasah that really woke me up. untuk berapa lama kita hendak berseronok? segala yang menyeronokkan di dunia itu, semuanya sementara. hanya ketenangan yang kita cari untuk mendekati Allah yang berkekalan. and i found myself thinking, for how long can i find my fun on this earth, for how long until malaikat maut menjemput kita?
